Practice gives the network meaningful work to do before it has no choice. Introductions, tabletop conversations, drills, reunification exercises, after-action reviews, and recurring coordination rhythms expose dependencies and strengthen relationships.
Operational learning
The point is not performance. The point is evidence.
Practice should show whether people can coordinate under realistic constraints, not just agree in principle. Good exercises surface missing roles, unclear authority, weak handoffs, and relationships that need attention.
